Message from the President
Thank you for visiting Initiate’s website and taking the time to learn about Initiate and about me.
One of my favorite quotes is “You are the first organization you must master.” That has been my personal experience and I have seen it to be true time and again for my clients. Understanding our own patterns of thought, our emotions, and our assumptions is what makes it possible to be an effective leader. It isn’t easy to pause and look ourselves in the mirror, yet it is this internal work that fuels external results.
Becoming a Coach
Those of you who know me (and I hope that includes you soon!) know that becoming a coach was a watershed moment in my life. I had to pause and look at myself in the mirror. I confronted many obstacles within myself and was able to take full responsibility for my own story. Though it was a challenge, that process gave me the gifts of a lifetime. Among them is the professional title of “Coach” and the incredible privilege of working with others on their journey to personal growth and development. It’s an honor, and it is work I love.
What Are You Ready to Initiate?
New clients often come to me when they are frustrated in leadership or organizational life. I believe at my core that when leaders choose to look purposefully at themselves and at their teams, it becomes significantly less difficult to achieve goals and to make companies stronger, healthier and more fun. Though it isn’t always an easy process, what you find on the other side will be worth it.
It starts with you. What are you ready to initiate?
